Byron Bay Oyster BAr & Seafood Restaurant

Inspired by lively oyster bar experiences found in places like New England and New York, Byron Bay Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant will be a destination for Byron Bay locals and visitors to enjoy epicurean delights plucked straight from the sea.

Located at 4 Marvell St, Byron Bay Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant is an approachable yet refined dining offering with a focus on the very best oysters and seafood from across Australia and New Zealand.

With oysters being the star of the show, Byron Bay Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant is taking the freshness of them very seriously. So much so, it purchased a huge land-based oyster tank that purifies and holds up to 500 dozen oysters at a time.

Our state-of-the-art oyster tank uses carefully filtered water collected on a king tide from nearby Brunswick Heads to naturally cleanse the oysters of any impurities. It also regenerates them to the pristine condition that’s usually reserved for oysters consumed straight from the water at a farm.

This means that every single oyster we’re serving at Byron Bay Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant is as fresh and pure as nature intended. Nowhere else in Byron Bay will you find oysters as fresh as those that we’ll be shucking.

The menu at Byron Bay Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant leans into simple preparations to let quality produce shine. As it should, the produce, including the oysters and seafood, will move with the seasons ensuring only the most pristine produce is used and the menu is a true testament to the beauty of seasonality.

Oysters will be sourced from across Australia and New Zealand including Nelson Lake Sydney Rocks from Tathra on the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, Black Lips and Milkys from Bowen in Queensland, Akoya and Quampis from K’Gari in Queensland, and Angasi from the Tasman Peninsula.
